Who We Are
A Club built
by
runners,
for runners.
Himalayan Running Club specializes in organizing and hosting road and trail running events to promote both running as a sport and the runners
-professionals and amateurs alike.
HRC identified a gap wherein the organizations hosting events face technical and official challenges in Nepal. From understanding the needs of the organizer to planning, budgeting and executing the event, we manage co-ordinating with government agencies, route planning, emergency and hazard planning, race officials, transport and logistics, registration, race kits and information management — so organizers can focus on their goals with complete peace of mind.
Mission
To promote running as a lifelong sport and a powerful tool for physical and mental well-being, while nurturing athletes through structured training and mentorship.
Vision
To become Nepal’s most respected running club and race management organization, recognized nationally and internationally for athlete development and event excellence.
The Story
Himalayan Running Club is a club formed by the runners, actively participating, organizing and managing the racing and other running related events.
To promote the sport and the athletes and to raise awareness on how running can help improve public health, HRC identified a gap wherein the organizations organizing the events have to face different challenges both technical and official in organizing these events in Nepal. This is exactly where we specialize. From understanding the needs of the organizer to planning, budgeting and executing the event, we help in managing all the activities like co-ordinating with government agencies, route planning, emergency and hazard planning, managing race officials on and off site, transport and logistics as well as registration, race kits and information management. With all or part of these activities managed synchronized by HRC, organizers can focus on their goals with complete peace of mind.
